
Dear Sony,
I have been an avid fan of your Playstation product since Day 1. I have an original PSOne and PS2 and I even remember lining up late night to get the PS3. I have PSP, Vita, you made it, you name it, I have it. I have all our TVs by Sony and yes I use my old Xperia when everyone has iPhone. I have different versions of PS4 and was planning on getting PS5 until this incident.. I have made several purchases in the past and most recent ones as well. One day, some jerk managed to hack into my account, disabled my unit and went shopping-spree! I have reported this incident and so are the charges. You managed to allow me to activate my unit again but remained silent regarding the purchases. I decided to bring these transactions to my bank who rightfully refunded me. You then decided that because I reported these chargebacks that you will BAN MY ACCOUNT PERMANENTLY. I tried to contact you via phone, via email and via chat but to no avail. You never looked at the kind of fraudulent transactions made, no pattern checking, no investigation. This action is counter-intuitive as now I may need to dispute all my recent purchases and subscriptions which is more than the chargebacks I have reported since you have technically "taken them back" and will be of no use to me. I'm not even sure if it was legal to take back what I have already purchased. But most of all, you have taken away my loyalty and trust as now I am even afraid to update my Sony TV's remote controls and devices for I know you will not protect my account and in the event something happens you will be more than willing to throw me under the bus. I'm glad this incident has happened before my planned purchase for a PS5 that favors digital-downloads. And will NEVER BUY ANY SONY PRODUCT again. For other people who still uses Sony, beware, do not save your credit card information, delete your info every after purchase. It could be a jerk-hacker, an accidental purchase, an old Sony unit you sold, a falsely advertised game, or your kids who could cause you to issue a chargeback (and I believe that everybody who has a credit card has experienced issuing a chargeback at least once) because Sony could care less regarding your situation and will ban your access FOREVER.
